Ahmed Hayford, teacher at Kukualile, Western Ghana describes his project:
"I would like to inform you about the micro eco-system project I started with my pupils last week! ๐ค๐๐ ๐ ย We're supposed to learn the topic "the water cycle" - according to theย school science syllabus, and I had an idea to take the opportunity to teach the pupilsย how important it is to protect the environment from degradation and pollution ( from what I learned at the workshop! ๐).ย So I grouped my class into 3groups andย put each group in charge of one micro eco-system. After this activity, I realized the pupils were very enthusiastic about it and the topic in general, because I believe I involved them much practically. Though we just started this topic, I believe I will be successful in reaching my main objectives:
1. My pupils will understand the concept of water cycle through a successful management of sealed and air-tight P.E.T. micro Eco-system.
2. My pupils will consciously learn to love and cherish nature and that will protect it at all times and cost.๐๐ฝ"
